The Knitting UUs are a group of Unitarians who share an interest in the craft (and madness) of knitting!  This group meets casually twice a month on James Island.

Where, When & What Print

The Unitarian Church in Charleston Knitting group meets every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month at the Kronic coffee shop, on Folly Road (in the set of shops that includes the Cake Stand and a watch repair, and alterations service) on the right as you are travelling towards Folly Beach,  at 6pm.

Every level of knitter is welcome, from beginner to expert - come along to join in for fellowship and fun and project sympathy with fellow knitters.  Bring needles and yarn.  You can work on your own project, get and share advice and tips, or join in the group project.

Currently, the group is knitting squares - yes, squares.  These will be sewn together into blankets to be distributed to local shelters.  For more details on this project, see www.WarmUpAmerica.org

For more details, please contact Cameron Mitchum or Anna Smith.
