| Annual Religious Ed Oyster Roast Sunday, March 11, 3-6 pm. This event, held at Bowen's Island, is the highlight of our church social calendar. Live music, great food (including hot dogs and different versions of chili), sea breezes, and fantastic company. Funds raised go for scholarships for our teens to attend UU programs at the Mountain Retreat Center in NC. Adults $20; children free.

| Annual Service Auction Saturday, March 10, 2012. Doors open at 6pm. Includes light supper, dessert, and wine, beer, and other drinks. Tickets are on sale: $10 at the door, $7 in advance. Don't forget to donate a service or an item (donation deadline is Feb 19.) Credit and debit cards will be accepted. | Pledge Drive 2012
Our Annual Fund Drive kicks off February 5th during the Sunday service. The following Friday, February 10th, we will party with friends, music, dinner, and cake from 6 – 8:30 in Gage Hall.
This year's goal is $310,000, which sounds like a lot until you consider all that we have going for us!
Please respond generously when you receive your pledge request in the mail. Pledge cards can be turned in at the church office, mailed in, dropped off on Sunday on your way into church or in Gage Hall after the service, or emailed to office@charlestonuu.org.
