Reverend Nancy Bird Pellegrini, Affiliated Community Minister
Originally from the Chicago suburbs and most recently from the Baltimore/Washington area, Rev. Pellegrini moved to Charleston with her husband Dr. Vincent Pellegrini in April 2013. Rev. Pellegrini received her Master of Divinity Degree from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC. She did her chaplaincy training at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire and Sinai Hospital in Baltimore. She previously worked for 20 years at the Central Intelligence Agency as a military analyst focusing on nuclear arms control issues.
As a Community Minister, Rev. Pellegrini serves as Chaplain at the Hollings Cancer Center at the Medical University of South Carolina. She also assists in leading worship services at UCC. After working on global issues, Rev. Pellegrini now looks forward to making a difference in the lives of individuals one step at a time.
