Fall Theological Lecture Series

Dr. Sharon Welch, of Unitarian Universalist Seminary,

to speak at Circular Church

Circular Church invites the congregation to join their fall theological lecture series, featuring Dr. Sharon Welch, Provost at Meadville Lombard Theological School in Chicago. A prominant feminist ethicist,

Dr. Welch taught previously at the University of Missouri and Harvard Divinity School. She is the author of several books including, “A Feminist Ethic of Risk,” “Sweet Dreams in America: Making Ethics and Spirituality Work,” and “After Empire: The Art and Ethos of Enduring Peace.” Our current Intern Minister, William Epes, is a Meadville Lombard student, and Rev. Dr. Jeremy Rutledge, of Circular Church, is a graduate of the school. Both are enthusiastically familiar with Dr. Welch’s important work. Dr. Welch will speak at Circular Church, 150 Meeting Street, Friday, September, 23 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, September 24 at 10:30 a.m.
