Music Notes – Quarterly Connection, April 2026

This season has brought big changes and upgrades to our church campus, some less obvious than others. A major update is that we have installed a new camera system in Gage Hall similar to the one in the sanctuary. We are now able to stream and record events with a multi-cam setup. In addition to being able to stream the Sunday Forum now, we can record and/or stream concerts, town hall talks, and special events. This isn’t just for people who rent our space, it’s available to our members! But, taking advantage of this new equipment does require hiring one of our trained A/V people to use it.

As ever, we’re looking for ways to involve more members into the music program. The two main ways are by participating in the chancel choir or the newly formed house band. That being said, they aren’t the only ways.

Sometimes we have members do solos, we’re even interested in small groups should a church member have that! If you want to participate, all you have to do is email our music director at ryan@charlestonuu.org.
